The IDA-2 is a multidisciplinary family centered developmental assessment that includes the Provence Profile measure named for its author Sally Provence M.D., distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at the Yale Child Study Center and the Yale School of Medicine, and a Founding Member of Zero To Three. The assessment findings are considered in the context of the child’s family and health and organized into a comprehensive Service Plan.
Who We Are
The IDA Institute is the home of the Infant Toddler Developmental Assessment (IDA-2), which considers the full range of infant and toddler development, appreciating that each domain is influenced by, and interacts continuously and dynamically with, every other domain of development. Through the IDA Institute, the IDA-2 authors offer essential training, consultation, and technical assistance.
