Participant's Background, Experience and Prerequisite Skills:
A basic understanding of child development concepts, theory and experience with typically developing infants and toddlers are considered important foundations.
The following criteria are considered prerequisites:
·Completed or developing credentials in one discipline
·Understanding of early childhood developmental theory & principles and their
application to practice
·Experience with child assessment either in clinical, educational, early intervention
or health area
·Experience interviewing and working with families
·Experience working with children ages birth to three years
